Dental Emergency
A two-minute phone call is the fastest path to relief. We'll assess what's happening, tell you what to do right now, and get you seen as soon as the schedule allows.
Where it hurts, how long it's been going on, whether there's swelling or bleeding. You get a real person, not a phone tree.
What to do for the pain now, what to avoid, and whether this can wait or shouldn't.
We prioritize urgent cases and get you in as soon as the schedule allows.
These can be life-threatening. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room first — then call us for the dental follow-up.
Until your visit
Rinse with warm salt water, floss gently to clear any trapped debris, and use over-the-counter pain relief as directed on the label. Don't put aspirin directly on the gum.
Hold it by the crown, never the root. Rinse it briefly, try to place it back in the socket, or keep it in milk. Minutes matter — call us as soon as it happens.
Cold compress on the outside of the cheek, 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off. Keep your head elevated. Don't apply heat.
Save every piece you can find. Cover sharp edges with dental wax or sugar-free gum. Avoid chewing on that side until we see you.
This is general first-aid guidance, not a diagnosis. Call us at (540) 636-2003 so we can advise you on your own situation.
You’ll know what things cost before treatment starts — we verify insurance by phone and give you a written estimate first. Relieving the pain comes first; the full plan is your call.
